Technical Information

The LogiQ Health & Recreation Management System can be implemented in one of 3 solutions or configurations:
  • Single System Machine [Client & Server exist on a single machine]
  • Local Area Network (LAN) - [deployed on multiple machines]
  • Wide Area Network (WAN) - [deployed on multiple machines in several geographically seperated locations]

The system is modular which offers the customer flexibility and cost effectiveness when planning their solution. The customer need only purchase the modules that they require. Additionally, the product uses concurrent licensing technology which means that the client software can be deployed on any number of machines.

The system offers the following modules for retail:

  • TPOS
  • Bookings
  • Courses/LTS
  • Access Control
  • Customer Manager

Along with these modules, the customer receives, free of charge:

  • Direct Debit
  • Reporting
  • System Configuration Modules

The LogiQ System consists of any number/combination of theses modules plus the Database. The database is a Microsoft SQL Server Database and runs happily on version 7.0 or version 2000.

In the case of a single machine based system, both the LogiQ client and LogiQ database run on the same machine.

LAN Implementation

The Local Area Network (LAN) system typically consists of a single SQL Server and a number of Personal Computers (PCs) running the LogiQ Client Software. The solution may also include other peripherals and components such as:

  • Configured network & local printers [includes receipt printers]
  • Digital Cameras [For taking member pictures]
  • Gates/Turnstiles [linked to the Access Control Module]
  • Card Printers [To Print Member Cards]
  • Bar Code / Magnetic Stripe Readers
  • Cash Drawers

This is the most common implementation of LogiQ. LAN Configuration of LogiQ:
