QVisual have introduced this as a result of interest from the market for the provision of remote training for its LogiQ product. QVisual already provide a range of training methods including in-house training during installation of the product thru to refresher courses located at the customer premises.

Improvements in technology have allowed QVisual to provide terminal services based training on the LogiQ application. This means that the customer can be connected to the application along with a remotely based QVisual Trainer. The customer can see the trainer driving the application, whilst talking with the trainer using the telephone. Whilst this method of training isn't a substitute for longer structured training courses, it is designed to compliment existing instruction, provide refresher training and to address specific skills shortfalls.

The advantages of such a training method are:

• Training can be broken to down into smaller chunks which fit easily into the customer schedule
• Training can be set up and conducted with minimal notice
• Training can be conducted on an up to date copy of the customer's database
